The Setting Wines Tasting at Bacchus Landing
Bacchus Landing is situated at the crossroads of three of Sonoma County’s premier wine regions, and in the heart of Healdsburg. Bacchus is the home of 5 luxury tasting rooms and features its own large open patio where you can sit back and fully enjoy your wine experience. Whether you choose to spend your time in the spacious Setting tasting room, out on the piazza at your own café table, or the greens with picnic tables, bocce courts, and lawn games, there is plenty of space to relax with your friends and family.
Established in 2014, The Setting is a collection of luxury wines created by three friends: Jeff Cova, Noah McMahon, and winemaker Jesse Katz. As the first winemaker to make the Forbes “30 under 30” list, Jesse’s experience spans 19 harvests at internationally acclaimed wineries such as Chateau Petrus, and Robert Foley, and was a part of the winemaking team at Screaming Eagle. The Setting Wines is a culmination of relationships spanning decades from Napa to Sonoma County, sourcing from some of the most prestigious vineyards both valleys have to offer.
Aperture Cellars
Discover the richness of Sonoma County’s premier cool-climate Bordeaux varietal vineyards in the refined setting of the Aperture gallery and tasting lounge. As you settle into the newly designed luxury space, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the estate vineyards, your dedicated host will guide you through the history of the property, the vision behind its design, and the exceptional collection of Aperture wines. Founded in 2009 by renowned winemaker Jesse Katz, Aperture is his passion project, born from his travels with his famous photographer father, Andy Katz. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of French grower Champagne, before embarking on a tasting of the winery’s most limited and sought-after offerings. The space also features a curated selection of photographic artworks by Andy Katz. Your wine flight will be paired with seasonal food accompaniments, enhancing your tasting experience.

Jesse crafts exceptional wines with a deep, rich flavor profile. Known as the “Winemaker to the Stars,” he has earned recognition as a “40 Under 40 Tastemaker” by Wine Enthusiast and was the first winemaker featured on Forbes‘ 30 Under 30 list. With several 100-point wines to his name, his 2015 The Setting Wines bottle made headlines in 2017 when it became the most expensive single bottle ever sold at $350,000. That record was surpassed in 2021 when a 6-liter bottle of The Setting fetched $1 million at Emeril Lagasse’s annual charity wine auction. Jesse also creates bespoke wines for celebrities and athletes, including Tony Hawk, Shep Gordon, and even Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s wedding wine. Located in the heart of Sonoma County, this newly opened boutique hotel provides the perfect blend of convenience and charm—ideal for exploring wine country and offering plenty to enjoy just steps from your door. On-site amenities include bocce ball, bicycles, fire pits, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. The hotel is just one mile from Historic Healdsburg Plaza, with shuttle service available for easy access to dining and shopping. Nearby, you’ll find hiking trails, kayaking, and hundreds of wineries to explore.

This package includes roundtrip economy class service for two from any major metropolitan airport, in the contiguous United States. Subject to availability. Airfare taxes and a $25 per person processing fee are the responsibility of the purchaser.
